The City Centre, Mäntymäki, Runosmäki, Kirkkotie and Varissuo health stations in Turku provide a text messaging based appointment booking service for special groups. When booking an appointment, customers must provide their name and describe their matter in their messages.

The text messaging service is intended only for persons belonging to special groups due to their health, such those with hearing or speech impairments that make it impossible or unreasonably difficult to use any other contact channels.
