The Emergency services provide urgent care. This includes the care of sudden illnesses, injuries, difficulties with a long-term illness or a decrease in functional capacity which requires immediate assessment and care.
Mental Health Services for Children and Youth
Lasten ja nuorten mielenterveyden ongelmissa otetaan yhteyttä neuvolaan, kouluterveydenhoitajaan tai oman alueen terveysasemalle. Opiskelijoiden mielenterveysongelmissa apua saa opiskeluterveydenhuollosta. Lapsen kehitykseen ja kasvatukseen liittyvissä ongelmissa sekä perheen tilanteeseen liittyvissä vaikeuksissa voi ottaa yhteyttä perheneuvolaan.
School and Student Health Care
Koulu- ja opiskeluterveydenhuollon tavoitteena on oppilaiden terveyden edistäminen sekä terveen kasvun, kehityksen ja psyykkisen hyvinvoinnin tukeminen yhteistyössä vanhempien, opettajien ja muun oppilashuollon kanssa. Kouluterveydenhuolto on lakisääteistä ja maksutonta terveydenhuoltoa kaikille peruskoululaisille. Opiskeluterveydenhuollon palvelut on tarkoitettu toisen asteen oppilaitosten (lukiot, ammatilliset oppilaitokset) opiskelijoille kotipaikkakunnasta riippumatta.

Maahanmuuttajalla on oikeus hyvinvointialueen terveydenhuollon palveluihin. Voit käyttää Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialueen terveyspalveluja, mikäli sinun kotipaikkasi on Varsinais-Suomessa. Maahanmuuttajana saat myös perhe- ja sosiaalipalveluja.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services
Mielenterveyspalveluiden tavoitteena on vahvistaa mielenterveyttä ja vähentää mielenterveyteen kohdistuvia uhkia. Mielenterveystyöhön kuuluvat mielenterveyttä edistävä työ ja mielenterveyden häiriöiden ehkäisy sekä mielenterveyspalvelut. Päihdepalveluista saat apua ja tukea päihdeongelman työstämiseen.
